The Loneliness of the Entrepreneur

Turin, March 31st, 2025 – Piedmont Regional Council Headquarters

A moment of dialogue, reflection and real entrepreneurial storytelling. That’s the spirit of the event promoted by Compagnia delle Opere, during which the Censis research “The Loneliness of the Entrepreneur” was officially presented. A powerful investigation that highlights the challenges, burdens and sense of isolation often experienced by Italian entrepreneurs — especially those operating in small manufacturing and artisanal businesses.

As Migliarino Punzoni, a family-run company with over 50 years of experience in the production of stamping punches, we were honored to contribute to this project. Not only did we participate in the research, but we were also invited to share our testimony as speakers during the event.

A real exchange among entrepreneurs

Throughout the event — attended by a large number of entrepreneurs and business leaders from all over Piedmont — the message was clear: there is a growing need to build networks, share experiences and develop practical strategies to face the ongoing challenges of entrepreneurship today.

We had the chance to present what it means to run a business in a highly specialized and technical niche like ours, facing issues such as staff management, skills development, innovation, and maintaining a competitive edge in the international market.
